Final 6 Weeks of Pregnancy: Take Care of Yourself and Preparing for Labor Guide E-Book
I have worked hard to create an amazing guide that I can provide for my doula clients but to also be able to allow others to use as well. Click To TweetWhy keep this guide as something for just yourself right?
This guide has information about your pregnancy and the nutrition and exercises you can do to help prepare for the adventure of labor. Along with the stages of labor, what is happening, what to expect, and how a support partner could help in each stage. And it finishes with postpartum tips, what to expect, and warning signs for postpartum issues, postpartum depression, and newborn concerns.
This has tons of information I have learned that people are wanting through being a birth doula and teaching my Comfort Measures class.
I hope you enjoy it!
Snippet:
Fear can slow labor and increase pain so it is best to work out some of your fears before labor begins. Spend some time thinking or talking about
- What part of labor are you afraid of?
- What’s the worst thing that could happen during labor?
- What scares you about birth and parenting
Draw pictures, write it down, talk about it, or do whatever helps you explore and process these fears.
Also caring for a new baby can be stressful, so try to reduce your other stresses before birth. If you are struggling in your relationship with your significant other or family members, work on these before the baby is born. Figure out who you can reach out to for support if you’re having a hard time with baby; talk to them about this before the baby is born.
